Coating, Cladding
Coating materials
There are more than 200 types of material from which coatings can be produced. In industrial practice, however, a narrower range of products is used, dictated by material availability and the price/coat durability ratio.
01
SUPERSONIC THERMAL SPRAYING
HVOF, HVAF
Cermet composite coatings – WC-CoCr, WC-Co, Cr3C2-NiCr, CrC-NiCr. NiCr alloys, Inconels, stainless steels, copper, nickel alloys.
02
Arc spraying
Iron-based high-alloy materials, zinc, aluminium and their alloys, nickel-based alloys (NiCr, NiCrAl, NiAl), cobalt-based alloys (CoCrW), babite, amorphous materials.
03
Flame Spray
NiCrBSi self-fluxing coatings with or without tungsten carbide, babite, ceramics (Al2O3, ZrO2, TiO2, Cr2O3 and mixtures thereof).
04
SPRAYING OF PLASTICS
Polyethylene, polypropylene and polyamide meeting the requirements of the CX corrosive environment.
05
Plasma hardfacing
Alloys based on nickel, cobalt (Stellite) or iron with or without tungsten carbide, Hastelloy.
06
TIG Cladding
Carbon or stainless steel (restoration), cobalt (Stellite) and nickel-based alloys, Hastelloy.
07
MAG/MIG/OPEN ARC HARDFACING
Carbon or stainless steel ( refilling, buffer layers), iron-based alloys, nickel, cobalt.
08
oxy-acetylene cladding
Nickel, iron or brass matrix composites with coarse-grained tungsten carbides up to 9 mm in diameter.
